About 35 persons with Covid-like symptoms died in the past 10 days in Bhiwani’s Bapora village, which is the native place of Union Minister Gen VK Singh (retd).
Village sarpanch Naresh Tanwar confirmed the toll. “The cause of death in three cases was confirmed as Covid. The rest did not undergo Covid test, but the symptoms were no different from the deadly virus. In the past 10 days, the village witnessed deaths almost every day,” he told The Tribune.
