The currency counting of the seized cash from the properties connected to Rajya Sabha MP Dheeraj Sahu has been completed. A substantial amount, reportedly exceeding Rs 300 crore, was recovered during the raids.
Congress MP Dheeraj Sahu raid: The raids began on December 6 and as per the latest development, the I-T department has been able to count 140 bags of cash out of a total of 176.
Additional machines, staff and security personnel were reportedly deployed to accelerate the counting of the seized currency notes which is still underway
