But as we go through the week it will gradually cool off and were even watching out for some nearby rain chances. It doesnt look like well see a lot of that here in the bay area but take a look at these highs, reach into the 80s. Well talk more about this coming up. Mike, any issues for the Early Morning commute . Kari, for the Early Morning commute, yes. Theres something up in the north bay. Lets take a big look and were not seeing the slowing out of the altamont just yet. Maybe some people are taking advantage of the time change. Im happy to have another hour. You heard the line outside of the chase center in San Francisco . This is what happened after the votes arrive. They are opened up and flattened out and put into those machines. Any ballot needs a little extra signature like a signature verification that goes to the human beings on the other side of the room and they do that kind of work. This is a lot of work. Right now, they are running two shifts because of covid precautions but working hard to make sure they can count as many votes as quickly as possible so we can get results starting election night. As of sunday, San Mateo County Election Office got 286,000 ballots back by mail and vote center. Twice as many as they got in 2016. Nearly 618,000 ballots were returned in Santa Clara County yesterday. 55 of all ballots issued to eligible voters in that county. Around the bay area all weekend long
