Residents 56 and over invited for covid vaccine and attention turns to second doses WARRINGTON residents aged 56 and over and unpaid carers are now being invited to book their coronavirus vaccinations. The roll-out of the vaccine in the town continues to progress well, with more than 70,000 people having received their jabs. Attention is also turning to administering second ‘booster’ vaccinations to those who have already received their first doses. In addition, GP-led vaccination services are currently working hard to vaccinate people aged between 16 and 64 who are in an at-risk group. Residents aged 56 and over and unpaid carers can book a vaccination at one of the Bewsey Pharmacy, Appleton Pharmacy or Village Hotel sites, or the mass vaccination centre at St Helens’ Totally Wicked Stadium, by visiting nhs.uk/covid-vaccination or by calling 119. ....
