Treasure Gems K, the 4-5 favourite, was trotting with a clear lead through the final turn when she made an unforced break, leaving only Cash N Chips and the pocket-sitting Wonmyheart Hanover in position to score. Cash N Chips persevered for driver Hunter Myers and downed Wonmyheart Hanover by a half length in a career-best 1:56.1, with Franklin County third.
