From The Tribune staff reports TRUSSVILLE The Trussville Rotary Daybreak Club inducted a new president during a special meeting at First Baptist Church Trussville, on June 30. Greg Carroll, a pharmacist and the owner of Carroll Pharmacy, will replace Ty Williams. Carroll said there are four reasons people should join Rotary. Those reasons are leadership development, service opportunities, friendships, and social opportunities. His goals are represented by five S’s: – Seek global grants. An international partner will need to be identified. – Service projects. Identify more and do a better job of tracking volunteer hours. ....
From The Tribune staff reports TRUSSVILLE The Trussville Rotary Daybreak Club helped sponsor a book nook for the Jefferson County Housing Authority on Wednesday, April 28, 2021. The book nook was installed at Terrace Manor II, in Bessemer. Anyone can borrow books from the stand-alone box. The box is one of 10 book houses that was built and donated to Better Basics by the Rotary Club.
