THIRD TIME LUCKI was faultless over hurdles on his opening two starts of the season and earmarked himself as one of the most exciting novices from Dan Skeltonâs yard in the 2020-21 campaign.
He was beaten into second on his step up Grade 2 company at Cheltenham last month, however, the front two that day were a long way clear of the rest of the field.
Flic Ou Voyou from Paul Nichollsâ stable is the obvious danger, but it is Third Time Lucki, last season s fourth in the Champion Bumper, who should be favoured to continue to improve and put himself in contention for one of the big novice hurdle races at the Festival in March.
