we begin this evening with the still growing political and legal uproar in the state of mississippi. state officials may ask for nation-wide help tracking down some convicted murderers pardoned this week by the outgoing governor halee barber. some victims families are worried and furious. we are in jail now and david is out of jail. we will forever be looking over our shoulder wondering if today is the day that david decided that he was going to finish what he started. cnn s martin savidge is in jackson, mississippi reporting the story. martin they ve been pardoned but now the state says guys you have to come back. do they have to come back? reporter: you know what, that s a really good question that they are still trying to decipher at this very hour, john. last night a judge granted an order that said at least for the time being the pardons that had been approved by former governor halee barber had to be stopped. that s at least those people who were still behi ....
out front tonight, breaking news. we have very disturbing video of what appears to be u.s. marines urinating on dead bodies. now, the video is so disturbing we re not going to air it in full. this is a snapshot. as you can see, it shows four men urinating on three dead bodies, which are sprawled out in front of them. now, we have pixlated and blurred their genitalia. it s a 40 second video and it surfaced online today and in it, one man says, have a great day, buddy. and a third is heard, checking to see whether all of this was caught on camera. now, it s unclear who shot or posted this video. and, frankly, it s also unclear who the people pictured in it were or where it was shot. the pentagon correspondent is on the story. barbara, it was amazing when this happened very late this afternoon. it was disturbing and hard to watch. let me hear what the reaction is from the pentagon and, also, what you can tell us about its authenticity. well, erin, good evening. a sen ....
