Woman critically injured in Mobile fire early Christmas morning

A 50-year-old woman is in critical condition after a two-alarm fire at a Mobile apartment complex early Christmas morning.
Mobile Fire-Rescue responded around 5:01 a.m. Friday to the Berskshire Arms Apartments at 4021 Seabreeze Ct. on a report of an apartment structure on fire, said Mobile Fire-Rescue spokesman Steven Millhouse.
Firefighters were met with thick black a gray smoke with heavy flames visible from the roof of the two-story apartment house.
They found a 50-year-old woman motionless on the lawn in front of the building, Millhouse said. The victim, who suffered burn injuries and smoke inhalation, was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. ....
