The Berlin Conservation Commission is respectfully asking for your support of a revised wetlands protection bylaw at Annual Town Meeting on Monday, May 17, at 6:30 p.m. at Berlin Memorial School. The Conservation Commission is tasked with administering and
enforcing state and local wetlands protection codes and working to protect and preserve our tow n’s the natural resources.
To that end, we have worked with residents and the Mass. Association of Conservation Commissioners to join the over 60% of Massachusetts communities who have already adopted local measures to address some of the inevitable gaps in the state Wetlands Protection Act.
