About the role: This is a 12 month, replacement role with unaccompanied terms based in Bentiu, South Sudan with frequent travel to programme sites, including some remote field sites. You will report to the Bentiu Area Coordinator, will manage Concern’s WASH activities in Bentiu PoC and in the Beyond Bentiu Response, including possible emergency rapid response interventions based on population movements and needs. ....

Thirty-six-year-old Tabitha Nyapieth works as a midwife at the primary health care centre in the United Nations Protection of Civilians (PoC) site in Bentiu, in South Sudan’s Unity State. The health facility is run and managed by the International Organization for Migration (IOM). She loves her work.

The International Organization for Migration’s Displacement Tracking Matrix (IOM DTM), Protection and Mental Health and Psycho-Social Support teams joined efforts with Humanity & Inclusion (HI) to undertake an assessment of the level of access to services and the barriers faced by persons with disabilities within Malakal Protection of Civilian site (PoC site). The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) contributed to the qualitative component of the study as the main Protection and Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM) actors operating within the PoC site.
