Paul Croteau appointed to Berlin Housing Authority
December 20, 2020BERLIN At Berlin s last City Council meeting, the nomination of Paul Croteau as a member of the Berlin Housing Authority was approved. His term will expire on Dec. 30 of 2023.
Councilor Mike Eastman discussed that the two proposed campgrounds and MOMS buying up 1,600 acres of land in Jericho Gateway is a positive for Berlin. He said there are big financial commitments in the area and commended the Council, City Manager and Mayor Paul Grenier for working on bringing new projects to the area.
During a Dec. 14 City Council work session, the VFW submitted plans with a layout for Veteran s Park. A monument will be added to identify the park as Veterans Memorial Park. Members have plans to move the monument near the gazebo and to move the Spanish American War monument that is currently at Community Field.
