She spent many days here before she headed out to fire engine 64 in north philadelphia and you can see tonight the black bunting on the firehouse door tells you one thing, people inside are mourning. The mood inside engine 64 somber as colleagues, friends and even complete strangers stood in the drive way to pay their respects. I worked with her for the last three years and she loved doing the job. Reporter lieutenant Benny Hutchins was one of about 50 who prayed for lewis family. He tells Eyewitness News he was proud to call her a colleague and friend. She continually always was outstanding and doing everything she could to make sure somebody was safe or property was saved and we miss her.
