Boyle, who won every honour in the game as a player with Harps, takes over from Kevin Sloan, who stood down due to personal circumstances and his own concerns around the committment needed for the job. Before Covid restrictions brought the season to a shuddering halt, Harps had made a disappointing start to the season by going down heavily to NFC Kesh and Magheraveely in their opening two games. In those games three times Mercer League winners and twice Junior Cup champions Harps conceded 10 goals while drawing a blank at the other end. ....
