BENGALURU: Bengaluru Super Division league champions and I-league second division club FC Bengaluru United (FCBU) were celebrating on Tuesday after two of their players - defender Robert Primus and striker Daniel Carr - made it to the Trinidad and Tobago national squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Bahamas (June 5) and St Kitts & Nevis (June 8).
While star defender Primus was retained in the squad following his call-up for the World Cup qualifier against Guyana in March - after he helped BUFC win the Super Division league title - Carr has now made the cut in the 28-member squad that is based in Bahamas. ....
