Bend's Drinking Water Report Available | MyCentralOregon.com

The City of Bend's Annual Drinking Water Quality Report is now available. The City of Bend Utility Department Laboratory ensures high-quality drinking water and monitors over 130 regulated and unregulated contaminants from both of its water sources throughout the year, including lead, copper, minerals, pesticides, and radioactive materials. The lab provided over 2,600 tests throughout the year. The City of Bend is100 percent compliant in water quality testing, treatment and water supply planning. The report is required by the federal Safe Drinking Water Act. It provides customers with important information about Bend's drinking water, water sources, and regulatory monitoring results for 2021. Cub Scout Fishing Derby In Redmond

Teaching local youth the rules and successful tips of fishing in our beautiful Central Oregon outdoors. On Saturday, May 28, Central Oregon Cub Scouts and community youth will participate in the 2022 Community Fishing Derby, an event for youth ages 13 and under to: Learn how to bait a hook, cast, net, and release a fish Learn about fishing regulations, guidelines, and safety Participation and other prizes awarded! Youth under age 12 do not need a fishing license. Youth ages 12 and 13 who wish to participate are required to have a fishing license. The pond is stocked with trout! Youth may take their fish home up to the daily catch limit. Catfish if caught are encouraged to not release back into the pond. Fishing equipment and bait will be provided for those who may not have their own.
