Its nice to have you running a meeting, instead of president bleiman for a change. I did want to flag for you all that you will be hearing from crystal in the next couple of days as shes working to schedule smaller meetings for our working group thats not already scheduled. Our executive Meeting Group is going to meet operating room tomorrow. Beyond that, there are two communications from dylan that you should have received in the last week. Please do respond to those as soon as you can. One is a doodle poll, asking for your availability for a happy hour for all of us in july, and the other is around a publication for a public records request. Many of you have respon

London breed so part of why we added an additional 10. 6 million in grants are for those businesses that are having the most difficult time, where they have to go through a process to access city resources. This is about those who could not get resources, who have, like, six employees or less who are struggling and need support. But also, were not here to micromanage what they use the money for. We know theres a moratorium against evictions for rent. That moratorium expires for the state at the end of june, i think it is, june 30. We know that rent is still going to come down, and were going to need these resources, so our office of economic and Workforce Development has been working so hard with so many of these businesses. It wasnt a loan pool, it was a grant pool, and we removed so many of these barriers to be able to access this money. All right. Dont forget, shop local businesses, smallbiz, biz, because manny doesnt know how to spell. Small business challenge.
Make sure there is nobody in the queue. J. A. M. Permits which is pretty huge. That surpasses the number of permits we have in the city being at 196. And we have a lot of unique businesses we are permitting that we werent permitting precovid. Thats pretty exciting. Sort of a way of broadening entertainment across the city that we kind of never envisioned we would have the ability to do. Which we were able to do through this emergency and through shared spaces. So thats exciting. And applications continue to come in. We have another 15 that are under review right now. Just to get into a staff and office update, you should have received an email from Deputy Director this past week. As a reminder, kaitlynne is on parental leave the next few months. We are very excited for her and her husband as they are welcoming their first child in the world. She will be out until the fall. Now were allowed to have 25 capacity inside for dining but it is limited to four people per table and one household per table. Similarly outside, theres no restriction on capacity.
