Floyd sisters hand over cash to Penlee Lifeboat Station

THREE sisters who raised over £200 for Penlee Lifeboat Station were witness to a real live shout as they handed over the money to the crew. The Floyd sisters Ruby, 13, Eloise, ten, and Florence aged five years have been busy raising money for the team at Penlee, the third year in a row. This year they sold Christmas cakes, Dundee cakes and hot chili sauce at Helston Farmers Market raising £200.50 for the station. This is the third year they have fundraised for Penlee and this year is the largest amount they ve raised. Florence 5 years, Eloise 10yrs and Ruby 13 years, Earlier today the girls delivered the money they had raised through the station letter box in Newlyn - they never expected to see any of the lifeboat crew due to the RNLI COVID restrictions, and they certainly didn’t expect to see a ‘live’ shout.but that’s exactly what happened.
