Chief Anne Kirkpatrick kept repeating the need to transform the department, working on a culture change following a year of scandal within the department. And of course, her role made official during the swearingin ceremony. You see oakland maryor libby schaaf taking part. A number of Police Chiefs in attendance. Chief kirkpatrick mentioned the importance of transforming the department and keeping the city safe and showing strong support for the officers she will be in charge of. She brings in a wealth of experience as a 34year veteran of Law Enforcement serving as police chief throughout < ....
