We are here on the Heritage Army heritage trail. We can find reenacting historians from all different time periods from the 17th century up to the president. My group is here this weekend to discuss the 75th anniversary of the normandy invasion which is taking place this summer. We found it certainly fitting to commemorate that event. Us putting on these uniforms, wearing old equipment, it certainly gives us a better perspective and appreciation of what the greatest generation went through. I now realize it was a quarter of a century ago, i came to milwaukee, and read no ordinary time about frank and roosevelt. He wanted me to talk about baseball. Always that push and pull.
