Soufrière monitoring team gets new leader
Dr. Eurocilla Joseph is the first female to head the SRC-UWI in country La Soufrière Monitoring Team.

Instrumentation Engineer Lloyd Lynch left the shores of St. Vincent and the Grenadines on Wednesday, 14th July, after conducting yeoman service installing, repairing and drawing date from the monitoring system set up to keep daily watch on the eruptions of the La Soufrière, which began on April 9 and ceased on April 22, 2021.
Replacing Mr. Lynch as Lead Scientist of The UWI Seismic Research Centre (SRC-UWI) La Soufrière Monitoring team is Dr. Eurocilla Joseph who is the current Director of the SRC-UWI headquartered in Trinidad and Tobago. Dr. Joseph arrived in SVG on Monday 5th June and her tenure will last for one month in the first instance.
