And ordering your holiday treats from a local bakery is a great way to support small businesses this season. Here’s a roundup of what local bakers are offering: The Southerly Biscuit & Pie, 1206 N. Lake Park Blvd. in Carolina Beach, is offering five holiday pies: chocolate chess, cherry Cheerwine with a crumble top, boozy apple with a crumble top, drunken nog custard and bourbon pecan, ranging from $19-26. They’re also offering oatmeal raisin and hot chocolate cookies at $24 per dozen. Orders can be placed online now for pickup between 10 a.m. and noon Dec. 23, and gift cards are also available. ....
