Mondi enables material savings for Bell Germany with new mono-material pack 1 April 2021 Expand Mondi has produced a recyclable mono-material pack for Bell Germanyâs thinly sliced gourmet ham ranges. Bell Germany launched the solution in March for over 30 products including serrano, prosciutto and savoy sliced ham. The new solution will replace a multi-material non-recyclable plastic solution, reportedly using 37% less material compared to standard modified atmosphere packaging. Mondi says that switch will reduce plastic waste for Bell Germany by 35 tonnes per year thanks the solutionâs light weight. It is also projected to lower waste disposal fees for Bell Germany and meets the design for recycling guidelines of leading retailers. ....
