Dean was a graduate of Cony High School and was drafted into the Air Force. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and worked as a jet engine technician on numerous planes including the C130 and C141 Cargo planes, and the Fighter Jets 100’s and F4’s. He was stationed at Clark Air Force Base, McGuire Air Force Base, Japan, and the Philippines from 1967 to 1971. ....
