I m not going to bore you by repeating why I believe relaxing coronavirus restrictions over Christmas is a festive folly.
I still contend that we ll be in lockdown again before the new year after a renewed spike in the figures. I m sure that contingency plans are already in hand.
Instead of the negativity, however, I want to share some positivity about a group of unsung heroes from the first lockdown.
NHS workers have quite rightly been praised for their selfless courage and sacrifices in the face of the crisis.
But last week I heard about others who perhaps have not received the recognition and thanks they deserve. ....
