The Nigeria Police, Force, Benue State Command has dismissed a constable identified as Belasa Iyangedue for defiling a 16-year-old female suspect kept in detention. The teenage victim had been kept by the police in the cell for defamation. While in detention at the Divisional Police headquarters, Tse Agbaragba in the Konshisha Local Government Area of the state, the constable who pretended to be assisting her, reportedly went into the female cell and took her into an office where he had sexual intercourse with her against her consent.
