MINSK, 2 March (BelTA) – Chairman of the State Customs Committee of Belarus Vladimir Orlovsky and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Belarus Dmitry Mezentsev discussed bilateral cooperation in customs matters on 1 March, BelTA learned from the press service of the State Customs Committee.
“The parties discussed bilateral cooperation in the customs sphere, including the results of joint work and promising areas of interaction between the customs services of the two countries,” the State Customs Committee informed.
It added that the chairman of the State Customs Committee welcomed the high level of interaction with Russian counterparts and expressed confidence that constructive cooperation will continue. ....

MOSCOW, 21 January (BelTA) – Dates of the next sessions of the Supreme State Council of the Union State of Belarus and Russia and the Council of Ministers of the Union State of Belarus and Russia have not been determined yet, however, all the necessary matters are being addressed routinely. MOSCOW, 21 January (BelTA) – The High-Level Group of the Council of Ministers of the Union State of Belarus and Russia is expanding the scope of the matters it deals with. The group s sessions are becoming more regular. State Secretary of the Union State of Belarus and Russia Grigory Rapota made the relevant statement after a session of the High-Level Group of the Council of Ministers of the Union State of Belarus and Russia on 21 January, BelTA has learned.
The official said: “Indeed, the scope is expanding. We are looking deeper into specific things concerning economic interaction. Then, the heads of the group – Vladimir Semashko and Aleksei Overchuk – have expressed their desire and readiness to host sessions rather regularly, at least every two or three months. Experience indicates that we accumulate a sufficient number of issues that need to be addressed.” ....
