Frequent water shortage in the area has led to a sea of water tankers that start plying at 5 am, blowing pneumatic musical horns by compulsion even though there is no traffic to hinder their passage.
Similarly, as per information provided by Bengaluru Traffic Police in response to an RTI filed, 1,362 cases were registered at various police stations between January and December 2022 against vehicles with shrill horns, and nearly Rs 6.86 lakh was collected as the fine amount.
