Garcia family grieves after father dies from COVID-19

VADO – The Garcia family gathers in the home their father, Jose Garcia, built with his own two hands on Wednesday to honor their loved one who this week lost his battle with COVID-19.
Jose passed away the night of Tuesday, Dec. 15 after being sedated and ventilated for over a month.
The 68-year-old farmworker was admitted to Memorial Medical Center on Nov. 6 and since then only one family member has been able to have physical contact with him  his daughter Carolina Garcia, who has been a nurse at MMC for 12 years. ....
