So, i think that i have heard directly from women and from providers that this is going to hurt the practice of healthcare. this is going to hurt families from making good decisions and honestly, it could hurt the health of women who are in these situations because, i know, in my case, when i started leaking at 22 weeks, my doctor said we ve got to keep the baby in. we will try to keep you exactly right. i was on bed rest. and we didn t know exactly what was going to happen. that is a decision that nobody should be involved in except me and my doctor and my loved ones. that s it. i think this is really an outrageous attempt to try to somehow classify democrats in these terrible ways. but it s going to have the result of really hurting women across the country. ....
Babies and in my first pregnancy, i thought we were going into very early labor at a point where it wouldn t be nonviable. doctors have to make a decision. they put some women on complete bed rest because if you tried to give birth at that point, 20 weeks, that baby won t make it. they do all of these life- saving things to try to stop that. i worry that now, in states like alabama and louisiana, if doctors are confronted with a woman who is bleeding at 22 weeks, somebody who seems to be the baby inside has passed away and isn t going to make it they won t be able to treat them. they will be too afraid to do anything because these men who don t even know women s anatomy are calling all of that abortion and trying to put women in jail and their doctors in jail. that s exactly right. this is why it comes down to freedom. something republicans say they stand for. this is freedom for us to be able to take care of our own bodies and get the healthcare we need. that is why, over two th ....
