At 5 p.m., it s estimated that 300 pounds of chopped and cubed salmon have been battered and served an hour into the four-hour fry-a-thon.
Anglers headed in a steady stream to the scales as they opened Friday morning for 35th Annual Owen Sound Salmon Spectacular.
Over 50 salmon and five trout had been weighed at the Georgian Shores Marina scales by 11 a.m. Friday.
