Akeredolu's Chief of Protocol Dies in Auto Accident

The Chief of Protocol to Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state, Mr Tosin Ogunbodede, has reportedly died along with his driver.
The duo were said to have been involved in an auto accident along Ilesha Road from where they were rushed to the Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa where they later died.
Another occupant of the car is said to be in critical condition
The identity of the person is yet to be known.
Ogunbodede, a lawyer and former staff of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, was appointed as Chief of Protocol, COP, by Ondo Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on assumption of office in 2017. ....

Fayemi Commiserates with Akeredolu Over Demise of Ondo Commissioner

The Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has commiserated with his Ondo State counterpart, Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN), and the people of the state on the passing of the state’s Commissioner for Regional Integration and Special Duties, Prof. Bayonile Ademodi.
Ademodi, who was a Professor of Chemical Engineering, died last Saturday, aged 68 years.
Fayemi, in a condolence message that was signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Yinka Oyebode, described the late Ademodi as a highly cerebral scholar, diligent public servant and a seasoned administrator that undertook every assignment with diligence and a high level of integrity. ....

The Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi, has commiserated with his Ondo State counterpart, Mr Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN), and the people of the state on the passing of the state’s Commissioner for Regional Integration and Special Duties, Prof Bayonile Ademodi.
Ademodi, a Professor of Chemical Engineering, died last Saturday, aged 68 years.
Governor Fayemi in a condolence message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Yinka Oyebode, described the late Prof Ademodi as a highly cerebral scholar, diligent public servant and a seasoned administrator who undertook every assignment with diligence and a high level of integrity.
He credited the late Commissioner for the central role he played in the establishment of the Dawn Commission where he demonstrated his organisational skills and a deep understanding of how a region could aggregate its areas of comparative advantage to advance socio-economic development. ....

The passing of Bayonile Ademodi, the erstwhile Ondo State Commissioner for Regional Integration came to us as a shock and a surprise, more so when he lost his brother, residing in the State of Michigan, United States to the cold hands of death only a couple of weeks ago.
We are using this medium to sympathize with his immediate and extended family and friends across the political spectrum.
Bayonile Ademodi and his dear friend, late Segun Adewoye, both of whom can be characterized as “two of a kind” knew, at a very young age, in their mid-twenties, as lecturers at the University of Ife, that their academic careers meant nothing if it was separated from the existential imperatives of first, the Yoruba People and by extension humanity at large. ....

Ondo commissioner passes on during medical surgery

The Commissioner, a native of Ondo town, died on Saturday.
According to available information, Ademodi died during a medical surgery.
His death was confirmed by the Commissioner for Information, Donald Ojogo, who said Ademodi was aged 68.
He was a Professor of Chemical Engineering.
