Salute!: Rookie cop donates blood for a woman in critical condition after giving birth in Leyte

Gen. Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar, chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP), lauded on Tuesday, July 7, a rookie policeman who donated blood to a woman who was in critical condition after giving birth in Leyte.
“This is a good character displayed by a rookie policeman. I am happy for his selfless act of donating blood and I hope that he will continue doing good deeds to the people in need,” said Eleazar.
He was referring to Patrolman Reymar Francisco Casiano, a member of the Baybay City Police Station.
Casiano did not hesitate to donate blood after learning that the woman, who was rushed to the Immaculate Conception Hospital after giving birth, had low hemoglobin count due to postpartum hemorrhage and urgently needed a transfusion of type A blood. ....
