As National AmeriCorps Week approaches March 7-13 11 AmeriCorps volunteers have returned to Grant County, and have been putting in the hard work to rehabilitate several buildings since they were deployed two weeks ago. “It just works really well for our county to have one group, bring them in and then share them around,” said Bridgette Johns of Southwest New Mexico ACT, one of this group’s local sponsors. “So they get to experience different parts of the county, and different projects that are happening.” ....
