Witnesses told police the tesla was speeding when it ran a red light, heading northbound on taylor street. Video surveillance confirms it ran the red light. At taylor and ofarrell. And the mini cooper striking the tesla, which drove the tesla to hit two pedestrians in the crosswalk, spinning it into an unattended parked vehicle and landing on top of the sidewalk. Both drivers escaped without being hurt. Police tell us theyve obtained a memory chip from the tesla. Investigators hope theyll find data that can help them learn more about this afternoons tragedy.
