PANAMA CITY BEACH For Peter Healy, age really is just a number.
With a surgical mask secured over his mouth and tennis shoes laced tightly on his feet, the 73-year-old Canadian snowbird was one of four people who completed a high-intensity training circuit on Thursday at Fit Culture in Panama City Beach.
Whether he was slamming a medicine ball on the ground, doing step ups or pedaling a fan bike, Healy didn t miss a beat. He even stuck around after the 45-minute workout was over to squeeze in some bicep curls.
Despite his motivated and lively personality, Healy is among the millions of seniors across the U.S. living in constant fear of a virus that first made local headlines about a year ago.
