Now, churches are preparing for their Sunday services.
Some in Traverse City say they don’t know what to expect.
Over the last year many churches have put in extra protocols to make sure those in the pews are feeling safe. Like wearing masks and also blocking off every other row. But now that Easter Sunday is making its way here, churches are being prepared for an even larger crowd.
Lead pastor for East Bay Calvary Church, Brian Conover, says, “Numbers typically boost during Easter Weekend and this Holy Week and it’s always a positive time for our church family and also for the community. We expect visitors, even people from out of town.”
