We are a museum, and research center, dedicated to the life and times of general Douglas Macarthur. We will look at some of the treasures in our collection from world war ii, the occupation of japan to the end of his life. With that, let us take a look at our first item. Douglas macarthur in 1935 was offered the job of military advisor of the commonwealth of the philippines. They were on their way for independence in july of 1946 and they needed a military advisor to create the philippine military.
