Senate Meeting: USG passes 2022-2023 budgets

Baruch College’s Undergraduate Student Government met for its 12th Senate meeting of the spring 2022 semester on May 3. USG presented the proposed 2022-2023 USG Operating Budget of $249,781.66. It is a net increase of $26,596, or 12%, of the 2021-2022 budget. The increase comes from the return of in-person events, inflation and higher accounting.

ERA wins the Undergraduate Student Government elections

For the second year in a row, Baruch College’s Undergraduate Student Government elections were held online, resulting in a one-party sweep by Endlessly Revolutionizing All. Since students were not able to cast their ballots in-person as usual, students were able to vote virtually on MyBaruch from April 21 to April 28. A total of 456 students cast ballots, according to the Office of Student Life.
