According to Barrington Fire Services Coordinator Dwyane Hunt, both fires are near Exit 30 of Highway 103 but both are a significant distance away from the road. Hunt says both fires are near Barrington Lake and one is significantly larger than the other but he couldn’t provide exact sizes at the time. At around 3:30 p.m. Hunt said the Nova Scotia Department of Natural Resources already had one of their helicopters on scene and he believed another was on route.
