Hancock County Democratic Women to meet May 17
WEIRTON The Hancock County Democratic Women will hold their first meeting of the new year on May 17 at Giovanni’s Family Restaurant, Pennsylvania Avenue, Weirton, at 5 p.m. for those who want dinner.
The business meeting will start at 6 p.m.
Because of social distancing, Giovanni’s is requesting that those who attend should wear a mask and order dinner instead of just water, a news release notes.

Red Bluff Round-Up returns for 100th anniversary


The Red Bluff Round-Up is bringing in first-timers and old-timers this year.
Some people said they are traveling from as far as Michigan and Florida.
The pandemic forced the event to cancel last year, so people are excited that it s back.
My husband and I have been attending the Red Bluff Round-up for probably about 40 years,” said Barbara Carter, a visitor from Idaho. “We missed it last year, so we are really excited to be back and visiting our friends.”
