Edu Manzano has always been a generous soul. I remember a famous comedian confided to me that when he was down and out and maxed out all his savings, he stayed for a couple of months with the award-winning actor. Not only did Edu make the comedian share his home and his meals, the actor even made him choose from his designer clothes what he wanted to take home along with some pocket money to start his life with.
In Baranggay Calayo, a beach town in Batanggas, the townfolk brag about his generosity not only with his treasure as he often gives medicines and groceries to the townsfolk but his time as he plays basketball in the local court together with the youth and ordinary townsfolk. “Nakikibagay siya sa amin.
