The Observatory has been informed by Karapatan Alliance Philippines about the ongoing judicial harassment against
Elisa “Tita” Lubi, Karapatan National Chairperson; and
Jayvee “Jay” Apiag, Secretary General of Karapatan – Southern Mindanao chapter.
On March 29 and March 12, 2021, respectively, Elisa “Tita” Lubi and Jayvee “Jay” Apiag filed a motion before the Davao City Regional Trial Court – Branch 52 to defer the implementation of the arrest warrants issued by the court against them on December 14, 2020, and to conduct further investigations into their cases.
