+ March 08, 2021 (UPDATED) Manila City Mayor Francisco Domagoso on Monday, March 8, 2021, ordered law enforcement units to tighten health and security measures as coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases continued to increase.
In a statement, the Manila City Public Information Office said the mayor’s key directives are:
Manila Police District (MPD) to increase police presence and strictly enforce minimum health protocols;
Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau (MTPB) to deploy Covid-19 safety marshals;
