Its completion is still not in sight. Every year, the facility receives a little fund, which is spent and then the year-long wait for more funds commences. As a result, the work has been progressing at a snail’s pace. Not even several protests and demands by locals and corporators have yielded an outcome. The demonstration intensified on Sunday when the locals cremated the body of a citizen in the middle of the road that goes towards crematorium.
