In the past ten years, the government under K Chandrasekhar Rao demolished one heritage building after another ignoring the objections raised by heritage conservators or members of the civil society.
The Telangana government is restoring several heritage structures in the city and will make efforts to secure UNESCO World Heritage recognition to Hyderabad, Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao said today.
