A Lehigh County man was arrested Thursday morning for engaging in a sexual relationship with a student while he was employed as a band director at Bangor Area High School.
Eric Michael Hahn, 38, of South Whitehall Township was taken into custody by troopers from the Pennsylvania State Police Belfast barracks’ Criminal Investigation Unit for allegedly engaging in sexual intercourse with a student on Jan. 28.
According to a release from the state police, Hahn was taken into custody without incident.
Trooper Nathan Branosky at the Pennsylvania State Police’s Bethlehem station said that “the relationship started through music lessons” in Oct. 2019, both in and outside of school, when the student was 17 years old. ....
