Police investigate quintuple shooting in downtown Baltimore

Police are investigating a quintuple shooting overnight in downtown Baltimore.City police said officers were called around 1:11 a.m. Monday to the 300 block of North Eutaw Street, where a 47-year-old man, a 39-year-old man, a 38-year-old man, a 61-year-old man and a 37-year-old man were shot.All victims were taken to a hospital. One victim is in critical but stable condition, the other four victims have non-life-threatening injuries, police said.Anyone with information is asked to call police at 410-396-2411 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 866-7LOCKUP.

Baltimore police arrest teenager in shooting of 12-year-old boy

Baltimore police arrested a 15-year-old boy in connection with the shooting of a 12-year-old boy last week.City police said detectives arrested the teenager Thursday and that he had a loaded semiautomatic handgun.Police said they charged the teenager with first-degree attempted murder and handgun violations.The charges stem from a March 1 shooting of a 12-year-old boy in the 2000 block of St. Cloud Avenue in northeast Baltimore. The boy was shot in the arm and taken to a hospital, police said.

Baltimore teen charged in fatal shooting of 15-year-old boy


Baltimore police arrested a 14-year-old boy in connection with the fatal shooting of a 15-year-old boy last week.The 14-year-old was arrested Monday night is in central booking, charged as an adult. What makes this even more tragic is the two young men were friends. Police think the shooting started with an argument.On March 4, officers found Jaileel Jones, 15, inside a vacant house in the 5100 block of Chalgrove Avenue.“When they got there, they entered a home they found a 15-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. He had been shot in the head,” Det. Donny Moses, of the Baltimore Police Department said.Jones died two days later. Now a 14-year-old boy is charged with first-degree murder and gun violations.
