The six-bedroom, nine-bathroom spec home is the priciest publicly listed deal in the ZIP Code, according to the Multiple Listing Service. Located directly on the Intracoastal Waterway, the home offers nearly 9,500 square feet of space, access to a residents-only beach club and space for a yacht. “The home is located in one of Fort Lauderdale s most coveted neighborhoods, Harbor Beach, that is attractive to high-end buyers,” the buyer’s agent, Chad Carroll with the Carroll Group at Compass, said in an email. “It’s an ultra-private, gated community with its own beach club and private marina.” ....
Hotelier Mikhail Avrutin sold a waterfront mansion in Fort Lauderdale for $23 million. Records show AV2412 LLC, a Florida corporation managed by Avrutin, sold the home at 2412 Laguna Drive to 125 Ocean Drive Holdings LLC. Avrutin is the owner and developer of Baltic Hotel Group, which operates two hotels in Estonia. He is also the president and founder of AFP of North America, according to his Linkedin page. Avrutin has been active buying and selling houses in South Florida. Last year, he bought a waterfront home in Boca Raton for $5.5 million. And in 2019, he sold a Boca Raton mansion for $13 million. The hotelier bought the Fort Lauderdale property for $4.9 million in 2018. The next year, he demolished a structure and started construction on a new single-family home, according to Broward County records. The home was finished this year. ....
