Lt. Col. Maria Luisa Calubaquib, PRO5 spokesperson, said the anti-drug operations that were conducted in different provinces in the region resulted in the seizure of PHP7,791,116 worth of shabu. In Camarines Norte, police arrested Leo Asistio Jr., 37, of Sitio Banaba, Barangay Inchican, Silang, Cavite. Asistio yielded 50 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of PHP340,000 and loaded caliber .38 revolver without make and serial number loaded, Calubaquib said. Police also nabbed Omar Maralit, 30, of Barangay Guisican, Labo, Camarines Norte, a rice mill operator, by virtue of a search warrant for illegal possession of drugs.
